Sinaloa: How different christian religions celebrate Christmas

1178

Some churches argue that there is no record of an exact date of Jesus’ birth, but they join the celebration; at this time, religions invite reflection and get closer to God, as well as celebrate healthily the birth of the Creator.

Although some churches do not share the date that Jesus was born on December 25, since they argue that he is not established as such in the Bible, they join the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and religions that do not celebrate this time are respectful of beliefs.

Celebration

However, Christmas is one of the most important festivities of Christianity, along with the Easter of Resurrection.

On December 25, the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem is celebrated by the Catholic Church, Anglican and in some Protestant communities, as well as in most Orthodox churches.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or Mormons are not considered a Protestant or Reformed Church, but a restored Church, and although they believe that Jesus was not born on December 25, they join the world in the traditional Christmas celebration.

In the same way, other religions do it like the Church Jehovah Sama. For their part, among the religions that do not celebrate the date are the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Light of the World Church, who argue that the celebration is not recorded in the Bible; however, they are respectful of the beliefs of others.

The important thing is that these dates and throughout the year families stay together.
