Today a new section of Del Mar Avenue reopens at 12:00 noon

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- After a long wait for merchants, restaurateurs, hoteliers and citizens in general, that all work entails, today a new section of Del Mar Avenue reopens , which was again submitted to surgery to renew the hydraulic concrete in charge of the construction company Remco.

The work carried out by the state government concludes a new stage on Thursday and from 12:00 hours will be reopened the lanes that circulate from South to North from the Monument to the Fisherman ( Avenida Gutiérrez Nájera ) to Valentino’s ( Avenida Rafael Buelna ), according to the information provided by the Public Works Department of the Municipality and the mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.

However, the road will not be completed in its entirety, because it is still necessary to finalize details such as gardening and painting, among others.

Tomorrow (today) at 12 o’clock on the dot, will be the banner that opens that road that is closed and logically is not finished 100%, missing gardening and painting, but hey, we have already precisely the Marathon and not only that, the citizenship demands that there be sufficient roads in Mazatlan and the governor will be here, to begin the opening of that road together. Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, mayor of Mazatlán.

This after the past Monday November 12 the first opening of the road in the lanes that run from North to South from Valentino’s to Monument to the Fisherman, with a delay of two days, since the promise had been on Saturday 10 of the same month and, subsequently, it was foreseen that this new section would be opened on November 27, but in fact it is until today 29 of the current month.

However, three months and six days after having closed the access to the road, with the start of the work, today will only be the opening of the previous area, while the rest, from the Monument to the Fisherman to the Venadito will only be opened to the access to the athletes running the Pacific Marathon 2018, this weekend, because in that area there are still more details such as the complete setting of the pavement, the delineation of roads, painting, and other details.

If the decision is made by those responsible for the work to deliver the road in its entirety once the Pacific Marathon is over, a little more than one month will have been saved from what is stipulated in the contract that, according to the public tender, ends on March 31st. December.
