Although for the moment no application or project has been confirmed at the door of any commercial establishment in this area, the business chambers see potential in this new ave and do not rule out its economic reactivation in the future

Mazatlan, Sinaloa. The bay avenue was opened to circulation since last April, although it was not until 6 months later when the work was inaugurated and delivered.

This street, which generated much controversy for the environmental impact, was created with the intention of serving as an alternative to El Malecón for its vehicular flow and the parking lots that were removed from them. However, the business sector could be looking at this road.

And although both business chambers have not yet confirmed any project or interest to start with an establishment, it does not rule out the possibility of this happening in the future and the area becomes another attraction with its businesses operating.

“I do not give much time for this area to begin to reactivate commercially and that’s when the impact is going to be seen, the benefit; It will be much more beautiful than what is already running businesses, “said Óscar Palacios Gómez, president of restaurateurs (CANIRAC).

“The bay street is very nice to be filled with street vendors or something, hopefully with established businesses (…) I hope it will not be filled with beer or something, that it will be filled with restaurants but not deposits or super’s, “added Jesus Sandoval Gaxiola, president of CANACO (Chamber of Commerce).

Both organizations leaders claimed not to have knowledge of any project due to the urgency of opening this road, in addition to having to verify other previous issues such as the properties.
