1. Bosques de Monterreal, Coahuila

This alpine development is unique in its kind, it is located in the Magic Town of Arteaga, 45 minutes from Saltillo and although it works all year round, only in winter the snow is real. In its 1,200 hectares, you will find ski slopes and 55 cabins where visitors can stay. You can also practice zip-lines, sledding, rappelgolf, and snowboarding. The best time to visit is between January and March.

2. Pico de Orizaba, Puebla, and Veracruz

This volcano with its 5,747 meters high is the highest elevation in Mexico and its top is covered by nine almost all year round, but during the winter season on the slopes, you can find good conditions for alpine skiing and snowboarding.

3. Nevado de Toluca, State of Mexico

6. La Malinche, Puebla and Tlaxcala

This national park, located next to the Puebla-Tlaxcala Valley, welcomes mountaineers and hikers all year round, but its beauty is especially noticeable when it is covered in white. Here the hit is mountaineering and venture to the top in the company of a specialized guide.

7. Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl

There is no doubt that they are two of the greatest natural wonders of Mexico. It is important to remember that, unlike other volcanoes, these are not for beginners, so explore them only if you already have some experience, especially Popocatépetl.
