He pointed out that with the arrival of this company Durango amounts to four thousand 435 weekly seats that are handled at the local airport through the various airlines and announced that it will fight for the establishment of an exit to Mexico City.

At midday on Wednesday, the first flight from Monterrey, Nuevo León, arrived at the “Guadalupe Victoria” International Airport, where Governor José Rosas Aispuro Torres accompanied the Viva Aerobus director, Juan Carlos Azua Cosío; as well as the Secretary of Tourism in the state, Eleazar Gamboa de la Parra carried out the inauguration of this outlet that will have frequencies on Wednesdays and Saturdays of each week.

During his message, the state governor acknowledged that this flight is not only Monterrey-Durango-Monterrey but that it connects to any other part of the country and even to foreigners through 35 departures operated by this low-cost airline.

He said that this is a great opportunity for the people of Durango to leave, but also for visitors from other places to get to know the tourism potential it offers.

“Today, having Viva Aerobus, one of the lowest cost lines in the country with new airplanes gives confidence to passengers so they can travel with peace of mind and it is an honor for Durango, since with this flight they offer four thousand 435 weekly plane seats through the different destinations that are operated at the Guadalupe Victoria airport, “said Aispuro Torres.

Likewise, the Chief Executive of the State emphasized that it will be necessary to fight so that through this low-cost company it is possible to enter Mexico City as long as the conditions of that airport, highlighting that the demand in Durango will be increasing and this generates the possibility of opening new routes to continue with the expansion of connectivity with the country and other parts of the world.

Juan Carlos Zazua Cosío acknowledged the support granted by the state government to establish this new route, especially with this company that operates low costs and that will offer its flights to Monterrey on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
