Hurricane Willa became category 5, which has led to the suspension of classes in 7 municipalities in the state of Sinaloa.
After announcing that Hurricane Willa has reached category 5 and that it could enter through the municipality of Escuinapa, some people entered into panic purchases, inundating Mazatlan stores to purchase basic foods,
The above was captured in images, which our readers sent us, in which families arrived at a shopping center located on La Marina Avenue, where they could see their “carts” filled with food, however it is not known if they were caused for fear of the proximity of the hurricane or daily purchases.
Conagua has recommended extreme precautions to the population in general in the areas of the states mentioned for rain, wind, and waves (including maritime navigation) and meet the recommendations issued by the authorities of the National System of Civil Protection, in each entity.
It should be noted that 7 municipalities of the state suspended classes before the threat of Hurricane Willa.
