Tropical storm “Willa” evolves into category 4 hurricane.

Tropical storm “Willa” evolved into category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale and is located southwest of the coasts of Colima, reported the National Meteorological Service (SMN).

The phenomenon will maintain the potential for very strong and intense storms in Sinaloa, Michoacán, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, and Guerrero.

In the most recent notice issued by the agency dependent on the National WaterCommission (Conagua) reported that the hurricane “Willa” is located 390 kilometers southwest of Manzanillo, and 400 kilometers south-southwest of Playa Perula, Jalisco.
