Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Taking the health of the Sinaloans as a priority, and highlighting October as the month of women for the prevention of breast cancer, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the director of the State DIF System, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, delivered Immujer Mazatlán coupons for free mammograms.
The director of this agency, María Elisa Meza Rochín, mentioned that up to now three thousand coupons have been delivered in different areas of the municipality of Mazatlan, as well as in universities, encouraging prevention among young women.
These coupons are part of the “Te Quiero Sana” program that helps to prevent breast cancer in women, they have no cost and can be requested at Immujer’s facilities, inside the Federal Palace.
In addition, the director stressed that the coupons have no expiration, so they can be used at any time of the year; the places to exchange them for free mammograms are Salud Digna and DIF.
