Hurricane ‘Rose’ and cold front number 3 will cause severe rains in Mexican territory, reported the National Meteorological Service.

The front number 3 will be extended as stationary over the north and northeast of the country, causing the potential of intense punctual storms and gusts of wind over 40 kilometers per hour in these regions.

In turn, the hurricane ‘Rosa’ will be located southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, its circulation will reinforce the entry of moisture and the potential of storms in Baja California Sur and northwestern Mexico.

The zone of instability with cyclonic potential will be located to the south of the coasts of Oaxaca , its circulation will cause strong entry of humidity towards the south and southeast of the country.

On the other hand, a higher atmospheric instability will affect the west, east and south of the national territory.

The systems mentioned in combination by the contribution of moisture from both coasts, will cause the following rain potentials :

Intense storms are forecast in the regions of Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Puebla, Veracruz and Chiapas, and very strong storms in areas of Coahuila, Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Colima, Nayarit, Michoacan, Guerrero, Veracruz and Oaxaca.

As well as strong storms in places of Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Tlaxcala, State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo, and squalls in Sonora.

The SMN reported that a sea ​​bottom event is expected with waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters high on the coasts of Baja California Sur and from Nayarit to Chiapas.

As for temperatures, values are foreseen during the morning values ​​of zero to five degrees Celsius in mountains of Chihuahua, Durango, Michoacán, Oaxaca, State of Mexico, Puebla and Veracruz.

During the day, temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in places of Baja California, Sonora and Michoacán, and 35 to 40 degrees Celsius in areas of Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Hidalgo, Chiapas , Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
