Suspect arrested for triple homicide in the case of Mazatlan nurses

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The General Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Sinaloa completed an arrest warrant against Juan Manuel “O” for the crime of qualified homicide committed against three civilians, who were located dismembered and burned in a community near Villa Union, municipality of Mazatlán.

The accused, along with three other people, has been sentenced to 22 years in prison after facing criminal proceedings as one of the alleged perpetrators of the kidnapping and murder of two nurses and a young man, events that occurred back in July of 2017.

In August of 2017, a case of homicide was recorded against three people, whose remains were found dismembered and burned in a vault in the community of La Amapa, union of Villa Union, municipality of Mazatlán.

Derived from an investigation carried out by police, experts and public ministries of the southern zone of Sinaloa, it was possible to obtain the necessary data to request a warrant against Juan Manuel “O”, as the perpetrator of the triple homicide (criminal case number 593/2018).

The accused will face a second process before jurisdictional authorities, while the investigation file remains open to identify the rest of the participants in this terrible crime.
