Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, “Alfredillo”, son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, was included in the list of the 10 most wanted fugitives by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Other Mexican leaders in the list are Ismael Zambada García, “El Mayo Zambada”; Rafael Caro Quintero and Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho”.

“Alfredillo”, 32 years old, is wanted by an Illinois court, for the crimes of conspiracy for possession and attempted distribution of controlled substances, in addition to the crime of conspiracy to import and export controlled substances for distribution.

This contrasts with his legal status in Mexico, where Jesús Alfredo Guzmán Salazar, “Alfredillo”, son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán does NOT face any charges, according to the newspaper El Universal.

According to various investigations, after the arrest and extradition of “El Chapo Guzmán”, his son Alfredo became one of the main leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel.
