Sinaloas, Gov Quirino Ordaz, first in tourism performance measurement in Mexico

The company Arias Consultores published a survey that aims to evaluate the political-electoral conditions in the 32 entities of the country. It placed Quirino Ordaz Coppel, governor of Sinaloa, in second place in the category of Best Approved by citizens, with a positive response of 50.3%, only below Guanjauatense’s leader, Miguel Márquez, who obtained an evaluation of 52.4 percent. cent, and above the governors Rolando Zapata Bello, of Yucatan; Martín Orozco Sandoval, from Aguascalientes; and Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, from Tamaulipas, who make up the top five.

In the measurement of tourism performance, with 69.8% of the approval, the Sinaloa president was in first place, above the governor of Yucatan, Rolando Zapata Bello, who obtained 60.4%; the third place was occupied by Miguel Márquez, from Guanajuato; Querétaro, with Francisco Domínguez Servién, remained in fourth place with 53.6% and the top five is closed by Carlos Mendoza Davis, who heads the government of Baja California Sur, with 47.7%.

At the time, both the head of the state executive of Sinaloa and the tourism secretary, Marco Antonio García, confirmed that this entity receives hundreds of tourists every day and is safe for visitors.

For the secretary, the statistics for the recent holiday period are very satisfactory figures compared to the same period of 2017. More than 947,000 tourists were received, which represented an increase of 38 percent.

On the other hand, to the question: do you consider that the confidence of entrepreneurs to invest has improved? The governor of Sinaloa obtained the second place with 54.6% of affirmative answers, not far from the first place, which occupied Francisco Domínguez Servién, president of Querétaro. Once again, Miguel Márquez appears in the top with 52.9 percent.

Regarding the perception of the people about the improvement in the delivery of support to people of limited resources, Ordaz Coppel returned to occupy the first place with 51.2% of approving answers; the second place obtained 44.6%, which was for the governor of Guanajuato. In the third place, Martín Orozco Sandoval, president of Aguascalientes, appears with 38.7%; likewise, Zapata Bello, head of Yucatán, with 38.2% and Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, governor of Tamaulipas, with 37.8%, remained with the fourth and fifth place, respectively.

An important issue on the national agenda is undoubtedly the fight against corruption.

When asked: has corruption decreased? 34.1% of Sinaloa citizens confirmed that they did; therefore, Ordaz Coppel stayed in the first place of this section; once again, the second place is occupied by the governor of Yucatán with 25.7% and the third, Antonio Echevarría García, governor of Nayarit, with 25.6% of the affirmative perception.
