“In the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa authorities and civil society are working together to promote the use of bicycles among youth and citizens in general,” said Francisco Javier Durán Carrillo, deputy director of the sports institute of Escuinapa and sports promoter, mainly of cycling.
He reported that last weekend a ride in which about 35 cyclists of different ages participated was organized, and this Friday August 17, there will be another tour of about 30 kilometers from Escuinapa to the tarpons.
The deputy director of the institute of sport, reiterated that the practice of sport was the most effective strategy to combat behaviours such as alcoholism and drug addiction, as people keep busy doing something good for their health.
Escuinapa is located 94 kilometers (63 miles) south of Mazatlan
