The president of Canainpesca, Humberto Becerra, confirms that he has a scheduled meeting with the secretary of SEMARNAT, Rafael Pacchiano, on Friday August 17 in Mexico City.

They will be accompanied by the Sinaloa state governor, Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the Commissioner of Conapesca, Mario Aguilar Sánchez.

The demonstration outside of the Conapesca building and the blockade of Camarón, Sábalo and Tiburón Avenues is still there, admitted Becerra around noon this Wednesday August 15.

According to the managers of several hotels, this closure of the road is causing serious problems to the service providers and the people staying at these hotels located right in the middle of the tourist area.

Added to this, the rains that have been registered in recent days have generated serious problems of flooding in this crossing. Annoying tourists could be seen leaving with their suitcases for the airport.

The rains have been so strong, that the water has already climbed the sidewalks and part of the corridors and parking lot of the Conapesca office building.

It is almost impossible to access some of the hotels in the area.

When questioned about these affectations, the leader of Conainpesca  responded that he is very sorry and apologizes to the citizens, tourists and other affected persons.
