According to data from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) , Mexico is the ninth largest tourism power in the world, so it is not surprising that it is also the leader of this industry in Latin America . In this way, as seen in this Statista infographic, in 2015 a total of 32.09 million international tourists visited the country, a figure well above that of its neighbors. In addition, as the same organization says, it is estimated that 79 million people in 2020 and 110 million in 2030 tourists choose Latin America as a vacation destination.
