After exceeding the expectations during the Tourism Tianguis 2018, Mazatlan has been chosen to host the meeting organized by the Mexican Association of Touristic Developers for the first time.
“The event was going to take place in Ixtapa, but the president of the association called me and said that there was a lot of interest from foreigners and owners of mayor firms to come to the destination and they asked for our support, so, we negotiated alliances and endorsements, and it is a reality now, “La Perla del Pacífico” will host the AMDT Summit,” said Carlos Berdegué Sacristán one of the most important hoteliers in the port of Mazatlán.
He said that it is an international event, which is expected to be held in June, and the presence of the Federal Tourism Secretary, Federico de la Madrid is expected.
Berdegué Sacristán said that an average of 500 to 600 businessmen and entrepeneurs will be attending the summit, most of them leaders of the main hotel chains in Mexico and abroad.
He stressed that this situation clearly shows that Mazatlán left an excellent impression by deploying a historical work during the 2018 Tianguis Turístico.
